Deforestation, the future for young people after Brexit, funding for social care and climate change were some of the subjects of questions asked by our thoughtful and caring children. Mr. Rashid's answers were passionate and thought provoking.
November 2020
At our first (socially distanced) meeting of the year the new school councillors shared what they wanted to achieve:
- Raise money to stop climate change.
- Make a cricket club.
- Make sure everyone feels safe and happy.
- Ensure everyone has the right equipment for their learning.
- Raise money for charity.
- Get a football pitch.
- Make sure everybody’s ideas are counted.
- Have healthy eating at lunch time.
- Stop bullying.
Plans for 2020 - 2021
- Our school council will lead us in applying for the Wise Up anti bullying award
- We will be working on the Silver Award for the Rights Respecting Schools Award.
