Science

At St Monica’s we aim to cultivate a sense of curiosity, interest and excitement about the natural world, alongside the knowledge, understanding and skills to explore it further.

Children are encouraged to understand how science can be used to explain what is occurring, predict how things will behave, and analyse causes. The children are taught practical scientific methods, processes and skills through each topic.
